Service & Sales Conference

The yearly Service & Sales Conference, themed “Powered by Us” in 2023, celebrated the collective impact of First Republic colleagues.

Our small team (consisting of an art lead, videographer, designer and myself) rolled up our sleeves to create low-cost, in-house solutions due to unprecedented budget constraints.

Since this was a collaborative effort, I’ve credited the creatives with the respective asset. All other work was concepted and iterated by me.

I am banner lady

I spent over 30 hours printing, building, and assembling banners in this event alone.

I was already one of two "go-to" persons for creating stand-up banners and operating our in-house large plotter printer (EPSON Stylus Pro 7900/9900).

After this event I self-promoted myself to Master Banner Lady of the Banners. Banners. I'm going bananners.

Phew!

We're almost done, I promise.

You get the sense of scale and production that went into this event. Our team juggled every asset simultaneously, while partnering directly with marketing managers, executive assistants, executives, event planners, and union workers.

A Quick Shoutout

First Republic engages their clients in events and volunteer opportunities.

Glide Memorial Church made a guest appearance, performing with their Glide Ensemble, and one of the breakout rooms was dedicated to packing essentials for those in need.

Result

By keeping 90% of graphic design assets in-house, we saved at least $200,000 in outsourcing costs, all made possible by our hands-on, creative team and marketing colleagues.
